Damper settings for Tein SS
I have the Flex and running them at 8 front and rear.

It should have actually gotten stiffer, I think you are adjusting it the wrong way.

OMG, eg neezy, that chat about the settings are confusing as hell. Ever hear the term keep it simple. 
Just remember:
Clock wise = hard
Counter clock wise = soft

My friend dan has the SS on his hatch and has them set on 21 fr 21 bk. He is one insane SOB.

The Flex have 28 clicks starting from its stiffest point.
That DOES NOT mean they are adjustable 28 different ways.
Anything over 16 clicks WILL ruin your damper.

Yes, BUT, make sure you start from the stiffest point(full clockwise) and start your count from there counterclockwise.

That is what is confusing everyone bro. Everyone thinks the higher the number the harder the setting. I look at it this way as well.
The way I found out what was what is by doing a little test.
I open the hatch and turn the ***** all the way to the left ( counter clock wise) and then jumped in the back. The car bounced like hell and was very soft. This is how I found out which direction was soft. I then turned the **** all the way to the right ( clock wise) and then continued to do the same experiment. This time it was stiff as hell and did not bounce. This was how I found out which way was the hard setting.
This was a simple experiment but it proved my point.

lol..I got confused while reading the latter post...but its ok now 
k...so for a recap..I said I was running 12/14..so what i basically did was turn the **** allll the way to the right (clockwise) then for the rears, I turned the **** counterclockwise(to the left) 2 clicks. For the fronts I turned the **** counterclockwise 4 clics. So with that...my settings are 12/14 then right?

No, you are actually at 2 in rear and 4 in front.
Its like this;
16--15--14--13--12--11--10--9--8--7--6--5--4--3--2--1
soft--------------------------------------------------------hard
______<----clicking counterclockwise ______(full clockwise/all the way)

No, you are actually at 2 in rear and 4 in front.
Its like this;
