Mine are chipped too, from where the stock wheel weights used to be. I never checked the rim to see if the firestone guy chipped them or what. STUPID on my part. Damn it...

Take it to a local machine shop, the majority of them do powdercoating..and will offer some type of guarantee.

We personally charge $40/wheel... if you can find a place that does it for less than I'd say jump on it. Most places actually charge upwards of $60 or $70 per wheel.

We include bead blasting in our price, but that price is also for 16s. Are the stock Type R wheels 17s?

Scott

PS- I just did my stock wheels for my car a kind of mixture between flat and gloss black... it came out great. I have pictures if anyone wants to see them even though it's not Honda/Acura related.

Your price is very good, especially if it includes bead blasting.
