I got my wings west rs body kit last night and i only had my crx disposable so i went to pick up the box. I had to dissasemble the rear hatch part and fold my seat backwards, i had to leave the hatch open and tie a rope to hold it closed, i cant believe i actually lugged that huge box in my little crx. This was definitely the biggest thing ive had in the car, 2nd place goes to carrying 4 people including me a friend and 2 big fat huge brother and sister, ( i still got the stupid girls *** indentation on my comparment right behind the seats )

Whats the biggest thing youve lugged in your crx?

 

I just picked up my RS kit from the body shop its in my car right now!
i also carried a 36 inch TV once... not advisable.

 

well...i have a hatch...but I put my whole JDM front end in my car and took it home..put it in my room....and slept with it

ive had two 2 people in the front passenger seat, with two in the "hatch area" of my 1st gen crx. it looked like a mexican ****** car with all that weight....

 

hmmm....i have a 90 civic si, and i've had 2 ppl in the front seat, one sitting on the e-brake with her legs straddled around the shifter, and 4 ppl sitting on the back seat, and 2 ppl laying across those 4 ppl...oh yeah, and i was driving too (my own seat thankfully). of course, we're all asian so we had room to spare....lolz

 

I don't know if this qualifies because it wasn't in my car but behind. I've got a 5X8 trailer with a detachable rail for my bike(Suzuki RF900) which I've towed behind my '84 CRX. No worries, with the '87 teg underhood, I can tow the bike/trailer combo and not break a sweat. I do need to replace the rear springs with something stiffer so it can handle the added weight.

 

Damn and i thought i was the only one who stuffed people back there. But seriously man after the fat assed girl and the *** cheeck indentation i have put my foot down! no longer will my car seat any more than 2 people! ever!

 

In my 90 hatch I fit my intire dorm room, not including the bed and stuff that is all ready there.

here is what wa included: 20" TV computer, 19"monitor"all other computer components, to 3' plastic containers, 2 bags of close the size of a army dufflebag, a suitcase, about 30 clothing items on hangers that where layed on top,a videpo camera and 35mm camera, full Klipcsh THX surround system in a box that is about 2 1/2 foot square which includes a subwoofer,oh yeah and a 3 foot high fridge. and no visibility out the back, plus it is the DX model that comes with only the drivers side mirror.

where do you live? I am in Bowling Green Kentucky right now, because I go to Western Kentucky University.

 

i live in louisville,clifton area.

 

I watched a guy drive down the road in a 2nd gen CRX with a full size refridgerator in the hatch area stick out the back tied in the car with the hatch tied down. I almost died laughing!

 

I'm in Winchester, about 15 minutes east of Lexington; yeah I'm game to meeting some Civic/CRX enthusiasts. I was going to try and make the first Ohio/CRX meet up in Columbus, but due to other obligations, was unable to do so.
