Default fellow prelude owners i need help chooseing what mods to get

hey I need some suggestions I have a 98 prelude type SH its stock and I got $160.00 and $35.00 in store credit and I want to make it faster I went to a shop and they said they got a AEM cold air for my car its 240.00 plus tax do you think its worth it or what else should i get???? please help i wanna get my moneys worth and make my car faster.

your local speed shop has lay a way??? is that so that the local high school kids can put their lunch money towards it and by the end of the school year get a header?? sorry just never understood lay a way. just save. or get the pullies. you should be able to get the AEM pullies for that much. it will be enough differance for you to be happy till you got more money.

$240.00 plus tax? I think that's too much money for a CAI. I can almost garuntee you can get a CAI for much cheaper on the net, just do some searching. And a CAI is a good way to start mod'ing your prelude.

You can get an AEM CAI from a sponsor on PO for like $160 shipped.

Look on E-bay you could probably get it on there for sub-200. Speed shops are a rip off!

lay a way is when the store is holding whatever your buying and you can make little by little or however much payments you want untill its paid off.

prelude online. A local speed shop tried to charge me 300 for aem pulleys yesterday, used jdm is the way to go if you can find it, such as used spoon,mugen, etc.......... in good shape
