My All motor GSR, shooting for around 185-205whp (13 sec. 1/4)
I have a 1995 GSR (weighs 2,440 w/ seats in the car) 2,590 w/ me in it.
Power Mods:
DPR Stage 6 Headwork
Type R Cams
Toda header 4-2-1
Skunk 2 manifold
Type R CAI
Kakimoto 70mm exhaust
Carsound Cat
Tuning Device:
Apex-i VAFC
Other Mods:
Fidanza Flywheel
Exedy clutch
B&M short shifter
Underdrive pulley
Valvetrain:
Oversized ceramic coated valves
titanium retainers
ITR valvesprings
Titanium V-TEC cross-over pins
Transmission:
ITR tranny
JDM 4.785 FD
Kaaz 1.5 Way LSD
Suspension:
Koni double adjustable shocks
Neuspeed springs
front and rear sway bars
Also, I have STR cam gears in the mail. I will be doing an acceleration base tuning on those after I dyno tune the car. My dyno tune appointment is for tuesday.
I am hoping for around 190whp. Is that achievable? Or what should I expect...estimation.
Also, my goal is to run 13's in the 1/4. I will be running the 1/4 at New England Dragway on September 26th, so I will find out soon enough.
What do you guys think?

Best of luck on dyno day pat. Hopefully they get a good tuner to tune the car. I remember tuning the car myself and hearing the car run, smelling the gasoline fumes...
If you could pull 190 WHP then I'd be surprised, and actually kick myself for going with Toda B's. Anyhow, the point is I could have saved a lot of $$$$

I would recommend getting a 65mm TB to match the skunk 2 manifold. And upgrading your ECU program. Some good tuning and you should be right around 180-190

I think your capable for high 13's...and i'm thinking you will get 180+whp...good luck. Please keep us posted.
I'm thinking that you will make between 170-180whp. I think if you make more than 180whp...you are doing very well. I wouldnt hold out for the 200whp mark. Good luck...I am looking forward to seeing your results.

Pat I would not get anything bigger than the T-body that you already have.
If you are going to stay with 1.8L of displacement and close to stock GSR compression, just keep what ya have dont waste your money on a 68mm t-body

My next step after tuning is to get my ecu upgraded....greg (aka cheetah) is doing that work. Also, ill be tuning my cam gears on acceleration charts. I got the STR cam gears from a guy on honda-tech (turbodandee...they were used). I know a few guys on honda-tech that sell them as well. Also, I may work on cutting down on some weight of the car. Maybe remove the bumper supports.

Pat, I took off the bumper supports when I ran the car at the track. It was a lot of work to do, but if you are serious about every tenth of a second then go for it.
But I would highly recommend against driving daily w/o those supports, cuz in case you get into an accident, the supports will help you.

A 68mm would be a waste....but if hes running a skunk2 manifold, there 65mm...and the stock GSR manifold if 60mm Type R 62mm....it would increase gains if he matched the TB to the IM...65/65....Either by buying a new TB (expensive) or boring the stock one (really cheap)....just my .02

Just got back from the Dyno. If you want a full recap on how my tunist was a moron and could have pushed out more power then read my post in the integra forum under DYNO for the day.
Overall, Im very happy with the power. Im sending my ECU to get New York to get a higher redline and a better response to my mods. I still have the stock GSR redline (8k). As you can see the power just keeps rising, it needs more room to breathe. This is on ITR cams too.
I got 189.34 WHP
127.88 WTQ

His headwork is bangin. What you need my friend is some skunk stage 2's or Toda B's and your set.

Pat HOLY CRAP!!!!!!
You made more WHP than me when I was running much more mods and Toda B camshafts.... Forget it man I'm driving ....ahem taking the bus up there to get my car back from you LOL....
Sleeper4G63 (6:50 PM 9/16/2003): Yeah let Greg dyno the car, he is the guru of GSR/ITR tuning
when is a good time for me to call ya? I need to go find my dyno sheets and compare them to yours!! Congrats man!!!
You sure got a monster there
In addition I overlooked that you are still running stock ECU with the stock redline.
Once you have Greg do the ECU for you and tune the fuel and cam gears even more I bet you will be pushing 195+ WHP

I do plan on going with hondata maybe next summer. But right now my next 2 mods are installing my STR cam gears. Getting my ecu chipped. And then maybe another trip to the dyno before I put the car up for the winter. I'd really like to get 200whp and a 13 second timeslip. Those are my goals. I go for the timeslip in a little over a week.

I think w/ the propper program in the ecu, your motor is capable of hitting 200+, also w/ the adj cam gears! I gained 7whp and 10 lbs of torque over my stock ecu, using my custom all motor chipped p28 ecu program. But then again, every motor is different......but yours looks like it has the potential to be in the 200+!
