I've got that combination running in my car right now, but I clayed my motor first. Not a whole lot of clearance but going fine for 2000 miles now

I beleive so, the CTR pistons are very aggresive.

claying the motor involves pulling off your head and putting small pieces of clay on each of the pistons and checking the clearances.
