Spoon Cluster is discountinued for DC2R. Unless someone has it stored away, it would be hard to find it brand new.

I think someone from H-T had one for sale on the classifieds forum recently. G'luck.

Thanks guys!

Brand new is quite impossible- JDMhondaParts.com was selling the last one on the West coast for $1500 last year

Yeah, and that's just frigging good business. Probably 10x the manufacturing cost. Capitalistic society owns.

I honestly don't see how this is any different than a car like this

appreciating tremendously over its original value! (this car is probably a bad example, but you get the picture)

Yes, a cluster is a cluster, and it is NEVER worth 1500$.

But supply and demand says.....

people buy bling bling parts left and right.. but what is the ONE part of the car you, as a driver, look at during your motoring?? the cluster. if a nice cluster is what floats your boat.. i say go for it. i mean ****, racers spend over 10k on engines and another 10k just to race, per year. my bank account would love it if it was just a little 1500 cluster that made me happy!

if you really want to be SHOCKED, call ACURA and find out how much a brand new ITR cluster would cost through them

I gotta agree with you there...

for my street/sometimes track car, on my budget, 1500 is too much.

But to someone else, that same 1500 is pocket change and/or well worth it, even if they dont have gobs of money.

Especially when they retail in Japan for about 600 bux Then you figure in the discount for wholesale and you have a 300% mark up. That is a bit beyond Supply and demand like Highway Robbery.

Recalibrated Cluster that reads 240km/h and a built in Speed Limiter that can't be bypased?

No speed Limiter (That would have to be in the ECU anyways)
and it also has a More accurate Tach that goes to 11,000

BTW Did I mention that my Slightly used Spoon Cluster is for sale? $1000 OBO
George you want it?

Personally I'd take my 1500 and buy an APEXi or DEFi Link System and set that thing up the way I want.

Spoon Cluster is nice but 1500 or even a grand is more than I'd spend. Besides I'd rather be looking at those Custom Guages Cause they LOOK TITE!!!

I'd buy one. Just like how I'd buy the NSX, people say it's over priced, but I still love it. I guess that's all that matters

You should look here:

http://www.stackinc.com/

And I think this is what you are after:

http://www.stackinc.com/st8130.html#sr

FYI, Sard didn't make these, they are just another distributor of them. A lot of race cars in Japan use these stuff.
