Hi..
I think its fixable.. I mean, the dents wont really show since its the "downpart" of the cai.. not quite sure on how to fix the opening.. Its brand new too
It has to have been sent like that from aem to ips, cos they wouldn't send it out like that.

Hi
This wasnt caused by shipping. It was shipped with some other items (oem valvecover etc), and the package was intact, with no scratches or dents. I'd say its a production error from AEM or something. I very much doubt ips had anything to do with it. Still, shipping it back is gonna be expensive tho.. Im in Norway, they are in boston..

They should pay for shipping it back, not you. Whether it was AEM, or the shipping company who messed it up, you shouldnt have to pay to have it shipped back.

As said previously the Box was in Mint shape when I sent it and When it was recieved. It seems this Intake was dented and dinged when AEM Packaged it in the box.
I'm waiting to hear back from AEM About the matter.

Most certainly not normal. I wouldn't touch it you pay all that Mulah and you get a bent pipe. Send it Back Let the distributor handel it with the Manufacturer while you enjoy your NEW CAI

I guess. I didn't think of it that way since usually you see owned as OWNED!!!
In either way I'm just pissed at the moment that AEM would allow a product to leave their company like this

What do you say we fire AEM up the we-todd-style? Haha!

Meanwhile I'll go fire up a blunt in my new AEM cai v2
