Installed some springs last night on CRX, at work, trying to figure out what part I lost / didn't put on.

Got the springs and shocks on fine, bolted everything up. Push up and down on the front of the car, the right nut / strut slides up and down, like not totally attatched to body. I know it's something obvious I forgot. I'm at work, besides, it's raining, so I can't check it out.

 

you probably forgot the tapered washer that goes on the shaft. it stops the shaft from coming up through your hood !!!!!

 

just make sure everything shown here is on your shock.

i felt like a retard when i did that.

the washer strikes again.....

 

It got me also. It sucked when I had to do all four over again!
