anyone heard anythign about this...they have some crazy dynos for this, and its giving insance bottem end, midrange, and high end gains (as opposed to the skunk2 design) i saw some pics of it, it doesn't look like its the best piece of work, but its cheap (a lot less than the skunk2) and makes a hell of a lot more power. anyone got any input?

 

we got 2 of them in at the shop i work at, they look like *** in person. if you're thinking about getting one spend a little more and get a skunk manifold

Even if it "looks like ***", if it works, people will buy it and be happy.

 

I got it, I'm happy with it. It definately isn't the prettiest thing in the world, but it made power over my ITR.

The manifold doesnt look bad at all, in fact it looks just like an intake manfold(holy cow ),or is it just not bling enough for you?

 

i really wanna see some good detailed pics. can anyone out there who has one take some pics of it, lots of em, good quality ones. i just wanna make sure that the quality of the manifold is as good as oem or as good as the skunk2. cuz from what i've seen so far, it looks like a really shitty "satin finish"

Thats over a Type-R intake manifold. The gains are probably much better over a stock B16a manifold.

6hp for 180 bucks is a bargain if u ask me. especially if your n/a.

Considering people pay well over 1400 bucks for cam/valvetrain/gear setup to get 15-25 hp. 180 bucks for 6 hp gets a from me.

 

considering those are gains over a ITR manifold, and gains would be much better on a stock b16 manifold. and being only 150 bucks, i consider it a deal. but then again, i guess you're expecting to get 30 hp from a 150 dollar mod on a NA honda...

You don't want 6hp for 150 bucks (which is probably what you could sell your ITR/SKUNK IM for)???

I think the people here have driven the point enough but since the comment is so rediculous, especially when trying to attain hp from a Honda motor.

But how about we think of it like this. Not everyone have a itr intake manifold. So would you pay $200 for a itr intake manifold or more for a Skunk2 intake manifold or would you rather pay $150 for something that makes 6 more hp?

Almost as good as a $500 cat back that produces 4hp? For me, peak power doesn't tell the whole story. An increase in power over the entire rpm range is what I try to look for. The AEBS/Professional Products manifold increases power throughout.
