Im assuming they wont bolt right in since the Itr calipers wont bolt right in. What would be needed to run this on gsr suspension? Anyone with experience, on how well or not these are over other aftermarket calipers?
They will work but you need new rotors etc upgrading the rear to Type R Rotors and calipers would also be reccomended, Spoon Calipers are Very Good and lightweight
As Mike mentioned you need new rotor (redrilled to 4X100) plus you need to shave caliper bracket a few mm (5 I believe). Brian at Fast Brakes can have the calipers machined for you and can provide you with a set of rotors.
A question about fitting Spoon calipers on a GS-R. Just wondering if you still have to shave the caliper brackets if I already have the Fastbrakes 2 piece rotors which are 11.1" x 1" thick. Thanks in advance.
instead of shaving the caliper braket, you could use a spacer between the rotor and hub which would space things out, but then you need to be sure your wheel clearance will be ok besides redrilled rotors.

If you're steering knuckles are integra spec (or '99-00 civic Si), then the calipers bolt right up. Only other concerns would be that you will need a spacer between the rotor and hub (about 5mm), and a wheel spacer if you expect to have wheel clearance issues with the caliper. That's it. Basically, you need to get the 5mm extra wheelbase on each side, similar to the 5mm wider wheelbase on the CTR and ITR on each side.
Would spacers or shaving need to be done if the Fastbrakes 2 piece rotors are used? They are 1" thick and stock ITR calipers can be used with these rotors on a GSR without shaving of the calipers or spacers. So if stock ITR calipers can be used without modifications, I assuming the Spoon calipers would be able to fit without any modifications too. Just wondering if this sounds right.
