Questions about Kumho 712's and drag racing
( I posted this in the drag racing forum as well, but haven't had very many responses to the question)
First off, I've never drag raced before. I love to autocross the Integra but have decided to see how slow my 94 RS with only and intake and 12.5 pound flywheel really is in Colorado.
Anyways, I have some questions about tire pressure. I have 205/45/16 Kumho Escta 712's on some 16 inch slipstreams and was wondering what the ideal tire pressure should be for the fronts and the rears. Maybe 25 front and 40 rear?
Thanks for helping a noob drag racer

my 712's sucked. One came off my wheel when I was taking a low speed turn into a parking lot
hahaha, but yeah, 20-25 lbs would be good. Good luck

I've got them right now. I landed a 2.2 60ft time at the track last time I went. I've got heavy 16 inch rims with them. So, I'd say they are a decent tire. I haven't heard anything special out of them. There definately are a lot better tires out there as far as performance goes. Im getting some falken azenis and some 15 inch rota's and trading my konigs as soon as a buyer comes along.
They have treated me good. I can't complain. But there is a lot better out there. I lower mine to about 24 psi at the track.
