What slim fans are people using? where did you get them & how much can I expect to pay?

I am running a drag mani with a t3/t04e turbo so there is no way to run this without slimmer fans. Also, how is the install on these, prety straight foward. I did the whole turbo, exhaust and fuel system so I am not seing the fans being a problem. But if there are any hints or short cuts that would be great. Thanks

 

im running the gen 4 drag mani, w/60-1. it required some mods but you can get the bigger fan in there. ill get some pics and stuff if you are interested.

 

i fit stock fans with rev hard and a t3/t4. but that mani is a pos.

 

Yeah, I wish mine fit but the fan hits the coupler and, it seems to me, the only way to fix this is to get slim fans. I have pics of the whole kit if someone want to host them on here.

 

Make sure you DON'T buy a cheap fan from your local auto shop. try to buy the ones with a built in shroud. they flow alot more air than the unshrouded ones. go with a flex alite. I am using a flex-a-lite 12" standard trimline for my main fan. i have my stock ac fan. i am also using a pep boys special 8" pusher in the front by the bumper. this setup seems to keep the engine cool. i am using a Maxrev manifold.
