Default gas gauge might not be working

hey i think my gas gauge is f-ed up, i filled up on sunday and since then i put 150 miles on the car. and its at 3/4 of a tank.. and im not sure this is right..... i know i may have to take out the cluster, but does this happen often on the 96 accords

It happened to my 94 I had to get a gauge from the junkyard. Just the fuel gauge.

it could be your sending unit, it could be the culprit

Yeah it just stopped working. I changed the sending unit and it didn't help. Sending unit is expensive. Start with the gauge. 10buck from the junkyard.

it seems like it might be working now...i beat on the dash a little bit....i guess..we'll wait and see
