how do you tell when slicks are worn out?

Default how do you tell when slicks are worn out?

how do you know when to replace slicks? i got a used set of rims and slicks and want to know how much life is left on the slicks?

the slicks should have dimples/holes in them throughout.
those are the wear indicators (like wear bars)
if you don't see any dimples, then the slicks are near the end of their life.
if i remember correctly, the m&h's have rectangle dimples and the mt have round dimples.

when you see THREADS, they are wore out.

My MT's always gripped the best just before the threads started showing.
