Default B16 Help

I have recently acquired an 89 crx si with a b16a1 swap, but i have had this problem of engine stuttering, this happens after the car warms up, usually 15 minutes, but sometimes less, then it all goes to hell . The symptoms get much worse in hot weather (thermostat?), and i cant seem to be able to fix it. I have tried replacing the ignitor but that didnt work for long, i am planning on cleaning the IACV and stuff, but i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did they fix it. Thanks for looking and i will put up some picks of the car sometime soon.

it could be the Engine Coolant Sensor if you mess up the sensor it will affect the whole operation of the entire fuel injection system. so my advice to you is to look for your vtec soenoid and you will see a green and a yellow wire side by side kinda below it , disconect the green wire to see if it helps until you can buy a new one if thats the prob. it should run alot better if thats it cause when i plug mine in teh check engine light comes on and it runs even worse.

That is what I was thinking..

Go here: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=404493
read what a guy named Camshaft has to say..
It is very common to hook up the O2 sensors backwards..

Check the Idle Control Valve. My sputtering went away when I replaced mine.
