Default B16b (CTR) to a 1.8L.... is it as easy as i think

I havent found anyone that has done this or knows for sure so Im hoping someone can help.
I believe a CTR block is the same exact hieght as a ITR block, just the CTR is D-stroke to a 1.6. Is this correct, can anyone confirm it for sure?
So if that is correct, i should be able to swap a ITR crank and rods in to the B16b making it a 1.8L... right?
If you have any information on doing this please let me know...

thanks
Josh
