hey i have a friend who has a 2000 honda civic hatchback cx with less than 40 k miles. salvaged title. he says he wants a motorcycle and will probably sell his car around october or november for around $4000. the car is silver and the body looks pretty straight. i dunno why it has a salvaged title, i still need to ask him about that but from what i can see, the car is in good condition despite the salvaged title. it is a 5spd manual and everything is stock except he put some cheapy 15" rims on it instead of the hubcaps.

basically, i was just wondering if this is a good deal. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks.

ps: im not sure about this but i might ask him if he would be willing to sell me the car without the 15"s for cheaper... the 15"s look pretty decent but they are some no name cheapy brand.

edit: if any of you guys are hatchback experts, i was also wondering the specific things that a CX has that a DX doesn't or vica versa. like things like a rpm gauge and just any small things like that.

EG?? it's an ek.... I would offer like$3500 or less and ask or run a car fax before buying it.... suspension damage is hell to try and fix!
