Default motor build

i'm currently takin my gsr motor out of my ef and waiting to get my eg or ek...yesterday i did a compression test and all of it was pretty low. so now i'm thinkin about rebuilding the block and puttin itr pistons in. then im most likely gonna put ctr cams in the head after that. what do u guys think this build up would do in a eg or ek. any other suggestions and comments are welcome too.

I wouldnt do a compression test on a cold engine. Too much blow-by to give you accurate results.

What's your goal & plans for the car? Obviously daily driver judging by the pistons and cams. If your aiming for a quick car, than you put it in the EG definetly. Even if you want to road race/auto-x the EG is a great chasis for that. It just comes down to which one you like if you don't care much about reallly "using" the car.

Good luck .
