Looking at this CRX to buy but cant tell..................
im lookin into buying thise 1990 CRX 5 speed but i dont know what model it is. Theres no letters on the back because maybe he took them off. I have yet to talk to the guy but how would i tell to see if it was an SI????????
SI had rear disc brakes and a sunroof. not sure what else is different but those are the 2 most noticeable. although they can both be put on the HF

Not on USDM CRX's they didnt. I have owned 2 91 Si's and 1 91 DX and all of the mirrors were the same.
Also about what someone said above about the tachs the DX and the Si's gauge clusters are identical well that is of course unless its an automatic DX. The HF is the one that has the lower redline than the 2.
I would say your best bet is like someone above pointed out look at the VIN number cause pretty much anything could be added but I would say that if it had a body colored sunroof (not glass) that it would definately be an Si cause I highly doubt someone would do all the work to add an Si sunroof when they could just get a glass panled one installed for probably cheaper than trying to mount in an OEM Si sunroof.
