Default So the NCRA is heading south

After some last minute discussion inside the NCRA organization, a decision has been made to 'try' to organize a tour down to the NHRA Sport Compact Fall Nationals. So as the details become more available to me, I'll be sure to post them on here. As it stands we have secured discounted rates for spectating, and racing as well, as long as we have enough folks coming down with the group. The NCRA technical director will be driving down in the Element, and hopefull will have a small caravan with him as well. anyone with any interest or question can email him directly @ steve @ ncraspeed.com <take the extra spaces out, I put spaces in to stop email bots from getting his address.

Clayton. email me the details as soon as you know.

Just talk to my engine builder and he only had one word to say "WOW".

They have figured out the fuel and timing problems. Hopefully be at the next event.

Off topic, but how many cars roughly do you guys have at your events? Like are there a couple pro cars(allmotor + turbo). And how fast are the street class cars up there? Just kind of curious. Thanks.

The car count at our events varies from track to track, but we have approx 8 ProCompact Cars (similar to Hot rod) approx 8-9 Pro Stock (All Motor) and 6-10 Pro Street Cars. The pro Street category is right now in the low 11 second range, with everyone of the cars in the class still a complete street car.

Shant: The event info is as follows
Oct. 4-5 2003
2nd annual
K&N Filters NHRA Fall Sport Compact Nationals
presented by Toyo Tires
Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, Englishtown, N.J.

As far as details on how the NCRA tour will work, are like this. if you are serious at all, PLEASE EMAIL steve @ ncraspeed .com <take out the spaces

Team KSR will be heading down... Just to spectate though. We'll be going down in a van. There's stilll room for about 2-3 more passengers... comfortably. So.. Shant, Craig, Scott.. You guys are more than welcome to join us.

Craig.. If you're planning on going down to race... Don't worry... We'll back you up in the pits.. But I'm sure Paul will have his crew down as well. But the offer still stands.

thanks for the offer Ken,

I doubt that I will be going. If I do go down to Englishtown for October 4th & 5th I will be taking my civic to race and if I don't go down I will be racing at the CSCS seasonal final on october 5th here in Toronto.

To bad the races are on the same day.

Shant.. Looks like it's going to be an all Kedimoto weekend for you.

Craig... Let me know if you need any help in getting the car ready. We'll pitch in whatever it takes to get you down there. If you need parts or help, let me know.
