HEY I WAS AT SCHOOL TODAY AND I SAW ANOTHER CRX WIT AMPER BUMPER LIGHTS THAT MATCHED THE VISION STYLE CORNERS, I ALREADY HAVE THE CORNERS BUT I COULD NEVER SEEM TO FIND THE BUMPER LENES, I HAVE A 91CRX BY THE WAY... ANYONE OF YOU GUYS KNOW EHRE I CAN GET ONE??

are you sure it was not a 88-89 crx bumper with stock lights?

 

My 89 Civic has amber bumper lenses.

I had the amber ones too. I think the 88-89's had the amber ones.

 

88-89 comes with amber but not like that. Those are probably painted?

 

stained glass paint.... I used it, turned out not too bad. Make sure you clear coat them.

 

Does anyone know if the 88-89 lights are interchangable with the 90-91 light?

 

no they aren't interchangable... it's completely different

and the paint can be picked up from michaels, or pretty much any arts / crafts store. I tried mine, but it turned out pretty nasty

maybe they're off the older integ. i know the bumper lenses for those are almost the same and the JDM bumper lenses for those doing roll on the corner like the jdm crx does

Dude just paint them, thats what I did. Wouldn't you rather spend $5 bucks for a can of paint then drop $20-30 bucks for some bumper lenses.

 

i think the 90-91's (if real) are from the jdm zc front end

 

 

So paint and clear coat seem to be the way to do it. Since no one will say where they baught them, since so far it doenst seem like anyone makes them.

You can eliminate the need for clear coating them if you just paint them on the inside and not the outside.

 

dood. 88-89 comes stock with those bumper lens. I probably have thrown away like 5 sets of those in the last 2 years alone.

Yeah but everyone is trying to figure out where to get the amber ones for a 90/91 CRX.
