well i have some 18inch rims i think im gonna sell them and get 17s and get some 40 series tires. these 18s dont grip for ****.
anyway i wanna know what u guys think about some of the tires that are out there
i was thinkin nitto 555r but they willnot fit. i have to have either 35 series 18" or 40 series 17s
anything else will not fit.

You're not going to find a decent drag tire with that low profile and large diameter. The sidewall is going to be too skinny and way too hard. Might want to just look into a decent all around performance tire. The yokohama avs100's come in a wide variety of sizes, decent grip, and are pretty well priced.
I beleive bfg makes a g-force drag radial in 17". Maybe you should decide on whether or not you want to show or go? You def need to ditch the heavy 18's,a nd go with something smaller. Sounds like you got yourself a predicament though
