Is there any way to make my Honda Metropolitan 1 go faster than 40mph?!?! I dont want to pay alot of money for some BS i dont need. I already have a civic, i just need something as a daily driver.

 

What exactly is a Metropolitan? A moped/scooter?

A 50cc scooter isn't it.
Expansion chambers, larger carb, turbo hehehe.
There is no point in modding a $1500 (new) scooter. You will never be able to put enough $$ into it to even make it top 60.
Sell it and get an old two stroke motorcycle, or a rukus, or anything but the metropolitan (if you want speed)

My Zuma goes 50mph, and I've been told there are some minor things one can do to increase the speed substantially.
