ok, im having my throttle body bored out, but where do i get a bigger butterfly to fit it? do i have to make my own????

The place that is boring the TB should put in a new plate. If they don't you'll have to have them make you one that will fit or try making your own.

 

well the thing is is that im boring it out, on a milling machine.

 

might sound dumb, but I was thinking of the same thing. Wonder if It can be done with galvanised sheet metal?'

I don't think that anyone sells just the plate, bec the plate is made to match the bore of the TB. If you just slap in JG plate it wont seal perfectly bec it isn't matched to your TB. The plate is not a circle either, it is an elipse. JG has great deals on overbored-taperbored tbs. http://www.jgenginedynamics.com
