do i need a crx/civic si throttle cable to complete my mpfi swap?
If your going with a SOHC you can still use your DX cable its just alot longer. If your going with a B series you can get a B series cable or a bracket and still use the D series cable. SOHC are all the same length from the end to where it goes into the bracket B series has a few xtra inchs so need to mod it
thanks, i was conserned because my girlfriend has a 91 civic si and her cable seems so much shorter than my dx cable. just wanted to make sure. thanks
The DX cables are alot longer but there the same length where it couts. At the bracket and where it goes to the butterflywheel
I believe the end that hooks to the accelerator pedal is different between the DX and Si. I could be wrong and it may only be if your car has an auto tranny or cruise control. I swapped my pedal assemby for an auto to manual conversion and the cable ends were different. I ended up swapping the accerator pedal from the two pedal assemblies to make it work. I still have the long cable in there.
Never known of the cables attaching to the pedal being any different. I have used the DX cables and B series all on the same pedal.
