GAY ass little slicks were worse than i thought by ALOT~
wow so i go to the track . . my mind set on my 12.999 got the boost upped to 11, some 100 octane in the tank, car stripped out , slicks i got for dirt cheap on honda 13" steelies. . . now. . they slicks are 20x8 so they are short as hell, width is fine. So im thinkin ill lose alittle top end on the small slick.. HAHA well lets put it this way id have done better on my street tire.. even after smoking the hell out of them, they still spun all the way down the track and worst part i had to shift into 5th . . i couldnt break 95mph (13.7)when i shoulda been over 105-107mph. Worst of all tho after the 2nd run i had one last chance... went to put my flaken azenis on.. and i got a broken stud with a stripped lug nut. had to leave the car at the track!
<~ for using small slicks
<~for using kyokugen lug nuts

kyokugen lugnuts are the softest, biggest pieces of **** on this planet.
i had the same problem.
luckily i had my junk wheels on, like in your case, instead of my nice wheels.
find someone with a good socket/key and you might be able to get it off.
besides that, the only real alternative is having someone torch it off (muffler shop).

haha yea the wheel is fu**ed up and the lug nut is gonna need to be cut along with the stud. . the stud is broke so its just spinning. we beat the hell out of it so it doesnt look like a lug nut anymore. . im goin sat. hopefully it doesnt rain to pop some new studs in right in the lot and run it on street tires.
i had this happen to me with a flat tire on the freeway. had to have the car towed like 40 miles back to my house and then had to spend 4 hours and 10 differernt drill bits to get through the wheel stud and lugnut. when the tire finally came off i straight picked up the wheel and body slammed it on the ground. my GF thought i was gonna go crazy on her.
i hope your comes off easier. good luck

UPDATE, well fixed the studs and ran on the azenis w/ 18 psi in the tires. clutch wouldnt hold the power ( act street/strip w/ ext. PP) i was happy with my MPH which was 107.87 60 ft was 2.26 clutch was just roasting 1st and 2nd.
so i ended up with a 13.7 again

My buddies car ran a
14.1 @ 114 on 19psi w/ radials
13.6 @ 106 on 14psi w/ radials
putting the power to the ground seems liek both of your cases
EDIT: was a DSM
