CEL CODES 22 43 ON H22 WITH P28 !!! NO VTEC
I have an h22 in an accord new engine >I did have an h22 before in this car but had a better one built. I have done all the trouble shooting I can find any were on the web and nothing. My accord throws codes only when i drive it hard like around 7500 rpms .My autometer air fuel reads normal and car runs great but I have no vtec and these check engine lights 22 and 43 .Also my vtec solinoid does open and is in good working order but still no vtec.
Is the p28 stock? code 43 shouldn't be going unless it could be a stock chip on the p28 ecu from running lean.
as for the code 22, that is the vtec pressure switch. I would grab a digital multimeter and verify your wires (ground to the thermostat housing, and the Blu/Blk wire going to the D6 pinout), as well as make sure the H22 has oil level full.
If all proves just fine, then I would recommend replacing the oil pressure switch.
