Default Do I need a camber kit for a 1.5-1" Drop???

I just got Eibach 1.5-1" lowering springs and KYB GR-2 shocks...do i need to worry about installing a camber kit? or is my drop not agressive enough to warrant one. THANKS,

Vince

I would also like to know because I got a Eibach prokit with KYB AGX's that should be a 1.5 in drop.

I would say No... But if the tires tilt in badly or wear fast an uneven I would get one. You only need the front you can use washers for the back.

hope that helps

they should do fine with that little of a drop, it's like a small step up from stock... any lower start looking at the AGX or even Koni Yellows

and to answer you question, for every inch of a drop - .8 degrees camber is there, so at 2 inches you would be 1.6 +/- degrees (which isn't too bad at all - honda specs are less than 1 degree)

i thought camber and drop was related exponentially. you know at 1 inch camber could be -.5 then at 2 it could be -1.2 then at 3 it could be -3.0.

So if the car is lowered 2", it would have approx. 1.6 degrees negative camber and a camber kit is not needed? When is it needed? If you lower over 2"?

it really depends on your preferences, tire wear will be a little bit faster with 1.5 degree camber but definately not very bad... I'm dropped about 3 somethin inches (no wheel, actually in the fender well - gap at all on 195/50/15) and my tires are lastin a little over 6-8 months
