vafc wiring for a PR3
Since the obd0 JDM PR3 ECU isn't listed in the manual that is included with the VAFC from Apexi I have some questions about the wiring that should be pretty easy. I have a ECU pin-out that has listed what each of the pins are. This is for a '91 integra.
The Red and orange wires are supposed to be spliced into the "IG Power" wire but I'm not sure what or where that is.
Also is the RPM signal the same thing as the "Speed sensor VSS" in location B16?
Does the Throttle signal wire splice into C13, "TPS+ VCC2", or C7, "TPS"?
The black and brown wires are grounded but there's like 4 ground wires from the ECU and I'm not sure which to use or even if it matters.
Thanks a lot for any help.

So I figured out the RPM signal is the VSS.
And I figured out that the red and orange wires go into A15 or A13 but which one? Both say the same thing on my pin-out. (Yel/Blk +12V Switched IGP1)
And still not sure about the ground wires or the throttle signal.

Here is what you need to do for OBD0 hooking up V-AFC.
Splice wires:
Red wire (IG Power) splice into the A13 (Yel/Blk) pinout
Org wire (IG Power) splice into the A13 (Yel/Blk) pinout
Blk wire (Ground) splice into the A16 (Brn/Blk) pinout
Brn wire (Ground) splice into the A16 (Brn/Blk) pinout *make sure you splice this closer than the Blk wire on the V-AFC*
About the Grn wire (RPM Signal), I am not 100% sure but I believe it's the B20 (Brn wire) pinout which is the Ignition Timing pinout. That's the only pinout I would think connect for the RPM signal, other than that, you can also splice it into your tach lead on your gauge cluster.
Gray wire (Throttle Signal) splice into the C7 (Red/Blu) pinout
*Cut and splice* (Basically cut the wire, so that the sensor goes from the actual sensor, THROUGH the V-AFC, and then from the V-AFC to the ECU pinout).
Blu wire is not used from the V-AFC
Pink wire (VTEC Solenoid) goes to the VTEC Solenoid
Prple wire (VTEC Solenoid) to the A8 pinout
Wht wire (VTEC Pressure switch) goes to the VTEC Pressure sensor
Yel wire (VTEC Pressure switch) goes to the B5 pinout
Splice wires:

Blk wire (Ground) splice into the A16 (Brn/Blk) pinout

Thanks poison. Big help.
matty: I'm running an LS/VTEC and using a '93 b18a block. So there isn't a knock sensor. I used a Spoon chip to help increase the amount of fuel and to raise the redline until I got this vafc. I never had a CEL so I assumed that meant the Spoon chip was programmed to run without one. HTH.
