Default so continuing on... getting screwed now from insurance company..well not really...maybe?

I just spoke with an insurance agent in person...
I am only getting $1000 max for my modifications due to the fact that I didnt purchase Progressive's "aftermarket modification" policy addition prior to the incident.
SUCKS! GAHHHH!
I turned in all receipts and i had pictures of all modifications.
Still nothing. Ah. I guess they can't do everything.
Just wanted to share my frustration with some of my used to be fellow peer dc5 owners.
for those keeping score this was my mods list..althoguh some of it was uninstalled at the time :
JDM ITR headlamps (not on)
JDM ITR rear lip (not on)
17x7.5" VOLK GT-N in white (not on)
INGS+1 front bumper
INGS+1 sideskirts
TEIN S-Tech springs
RS*R full cat-back exhaust
BKNW Carbon Fiber hood
carbon fiber I-VTEC cover
carbon fiber eyelids
MA 700 TV/DVD
CompustarSS alarm system
20% architecture blue tint

I guess you can look at 2 things....

1) They didn't even have to give you 1,000
2) You had some mods not on the car yet....

State Farm will cover those items for free with the standard policy. See if you can argue from that point.

Well progressive is a weird company to have. They are sometimes, well most of the time they are cheap bastards. I have them as well, so I think I may call my agent up today and make sure I am completely covered with the mods I have, plus my little brothers truck has alot of money into it.

Also how did you car get stolen? Tow truck?

That's mine, the police station's, and my insurance agent's best guess. Since there was no glass at the scene of theft, we are all assuming it was towed. Unforunately, there seems to be a couple rings in the northeast Philly area with tow trucks. My agent told me some kids ITR was stolen just last week and under my post in the "general" section of h-tech it seems like 2-3 other modified hondas/acurs were stolen in the same exact vicinty the same week mine was in a similar manner.

Find them, and show them how you feel.
