Default ? about factory. tach. & VAFC

Ever since I got my VAFC I noticed the factory tach reads about 200-300 rpm's higher than the tach on the VAFC. For instance; holdin the engine steady @ say 4350 rpm's, the VAFC reads roughly 4100 rpm's. Which 1 is more acurate?

Factory tach is off.

I dynoed my car the other week and was letting off at an indicated 8800rpm, on the print out the graph stopped at 8500rpm.

VAFC on my car read the same as the dyno machine was reading. Tach is a couple hundred rpm's higher on my car. Its normal on all Honda's from what I've seen.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by type r 01-1063 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">What about Spoon's tachometer on the gauge cluster? </TD></TR></TABLE>

considering they use the same kind of loaded electronic coil, i would assume so.
