I was looking on the back of the Meguiars liquid wax bottle and it says on the bottom "DO NOT USE ON NON-PAINTED SURFACES". Since my C/F hood is "non-painted" i figured that the statement applies to the hood among other surfaces. What do you C/F hood owners use on your hoods?

 

i had a cf hood on my 92 hb and had to buff it out because of scratches. you shouldnt have any problems. i use to was mine just dont let it stay on long
Remember wipe on /wipe off

 

I use a variety of waxes on mine, including Mother's and Meguiars. Works well and I've had no problems at all. All the products I use say "safe for all finishes" so I don't think any harm is being done.
