Default Deck Plate or Stock deck???????

Need helping on deciding to go Deck Plate or Stock Deck.
Did some researching but still can't decide.
Turbo Magazine is doing an article but not done yet.
Pro and Cons for both NA setup.

deckplate means real all motor work...also watch for clearences for the hood..and u might need a custom header..also custom rods..but u can def make serious power with an ill setup...b prepared to shell out major doe..do a search in here and u can find some good info

deckplates are mainly for increasing the stroke of the motor. see the motor in my sig for some pics, and an example.

I have a local shop.
They want $11G's for
b18c1 ported head with manley valves, retainers, springs and crowler cams
b18c1 stroker block sleeved and deck by Darton, titanium rods
Thats including full swap w/ tranny and labor
What do you think?
Currently I have a 97 Civic hb building a sleeper

It is for 1/4 and weekend car and 3/4 deck.

if the car is going to be daily driven we recomend that you stay with the normal deck height....if you give us a call we can discuss diffrent ways you can go about building your motor
