Default ahh the joy of owning a turbo vehicle

well first off this is purely to **** and moan. i finally got my turbo set up running right on my ls. i have been messing with it for a while, and i got my kteller exhasut good stuff, great sound, and i'll see about the performance of it when i get on the dyno. on the way back from the exhaust shop my little battery warning light came on. well i was on a highway with nowhere to turn off so i didn't. well my car ended up dying, and now i need a an altenater. i know altenaters have absolutly nothing to do with FI but maintence does, and so does a car being down. well there goes the money i set aside to get some dyno tuning done. on top of all that i rode my bike to class and the battery died, so now i need a new altenator on my car and a new battery on my bike. my toys must think i'm made out of money. its 4:45 and i already need a drink.

Hmmmmm some upsetting days? Lets talk about upsetting months. Actually clusters of months (5 months).

Ive had blown headgaskets, warped head, cracked cylinder, cracked ringlands, dropped sleeves, Oil lines blowing up while on the freeway, tons of parts not fitting right, buying a bad timing belt tensioner, and having it skip 5 teeth bending every single exhaust valve..... and many more little things. I have had bad luck with my car. In the last 5 months, ive gone through 3 built motors from and undisclosed source.

Now my motor resides at goldeneagle being built up from scratch again. Not everyone goes through this, but the unlucky fairy has visited me. I have since kicked her *** and now I know Im going to have a monster in a few weeks.

well i got my car out of the shop today, got lucky not very much down time, but it cost me $200. its hard not to think of what that could have been spent on, like some tunning, or no charge pipes. well anyways cars running well, i have an oil leak once again. i think my oil pan gasket is bad. oh well i guess it'll be fun going through that mess. i'm boosting at 5 psi, thats all my charge pipes will hanlde befor blowing off. i need to get that fixed.

i have a dark green ls special edition. stock looking besides the front mount and muffler. i live out in destin. i haven't met to many people around here with boosted hondas. are you doing your turbo install yourself? if so get ready to destroy your garage.
