Default New Style Rear Diffuser for drag car-works with parachute tube

I thought you guys might like to see our new creation for drag cars. Old concept but new design. It was tested last weekend on Joe Housley's civic hatch in Sonoma.

$125

This diffuser has been tested at the drag strip on a 9 second, 150mph drag Civic. The diffuser is water jet cut from our high quality Rigid RacePlate, and it has the same glossy finish everyone loves. It measures approximately 4"x44.5", and comes with easy to read instructions for trouble free install. For those really fast racers out there you will be happy to know we machined a center hole just for your parachute tube. A secondary benefit for some cars using parachutes is faster parachute deployment due to the larger volume of air exiting out the bumper cover.

Thanks. I forgot to mention we can have custom diffusers made as well. One idea that may be fun is to have your race team or sponsor name cut into a diffuser. We can do custom water jet cutting for an additional charge.

I will post one on a 92 civic hatch racecar today. I haven't been able to get the pics from the car owner yet.

Here are some pictures of it installed on Joe Housley's drag civic. It was slightly modified by Joe to fit his wheelie bars and chute. It is attached with black rivets. Joe chose to lay the diffuser on the back of the car and then draw out his dremel cuts. You can also just cut a big rectangle out of the back cover so you wouldn't be able to see the cuts on the bumper cover beneath. It did a great job at opening his chute.

but I thought you said that teh hole was for chutes? Why is he not using it? Looks to be too low to run the chute mount through that hole?

Yah he did not design the car around the diffuser. He mounted his chute a little high. The wheelie bars didn't fit either but it is very easy to modify in a few minutes. With all of the different racecars I had to settle on one design. Other designs I have seen don't have anything but a logo in the center.

very impressive, I have been a fan of what you are doing with CF since you first posted a thread asking about interest, and parts you would like to see made. I will def. be picking one up at some point in my cars evolution... keep up the good work

do you do custom work??

would you be able to make a 1 piece for an EG??

I have one that I am going to use for now, but would like to upgrade to CF, and need a wider one eventually, I would even drive out to pick it up from the east coast....

Yah we can have any size shape cut out. Wouldn't this one work or do you just want another design?

I wanted to let everyone know that this style is no longer available because people seem to like the traditional look so here it is. Now the diffusers include black painted rivets and instructions.

These are $125 shipped for HT members or you can order them off our site for $135 shipped. I have 7 of them cut right now.

I could cut that design for you since I still have the CAD file for it but it would be about two weeks to get it shipped.

I still have the original design, if anyone interested pm me. I wanted the traditional design and I talked to adam to get one but at the time he was not ready to make me one so I got something else.
To Adam for great customer service

Thanks, sorry it took me so long to get these done, I'm just barely building up stock now. If someone asks me for an old style I'll refer them to you.
