Default I changed my oil, only pulled 2 quarts out of the car!!! Any dammage done?

I was driving the other day, and my oil light came on, I was like o ****, so I checked my oil, very low. I immediatly went and got another 4 quarts of mobil 1 synthetic and a filter, when i changed the oil only 2 quarts of seriously blacked old mobil 1 came out..... I just changed my oil 2500 miles ago. I do not have a leak either. I guess all my high RMP driving burned up a lot of oil. How bad is this for my car, could It have done any dammage?

i don't see how only high rpm driving could burn over two quarts in 2500mi. but i would defer to the experts in this area.

well burning oil is a normal thing, especially in high RPM driving, but it shouldn't be that much... you probably have a leaky gasket and it's either leaking out the valve cover or through the spark plugs or maybe through the oil pan gasket... but if it were leaking through the oil pan gasket then you'd see oil underneath your car.......
