First time going to the track any advice?
I finally get to see what my hybrid hatch can do! I'm in the Army stationed in Germany and there are not many chances to go to a quater mile track. This is going to be a big meet with car from all over Germany so I would like to get a decent time. I was just looking for some pointers to help me out. Here is my set up:
92 vx hatch (completely gutted just seats and dash), B18C6 motor (euro ITR), Aem intake, JDM 4-1 header, 2.5 Cat, Buddy club spec III exhaust, ACT heavy duty pressure plate 6 puck disk, ZEX 10.4 pound flywheel, DC sports short shifter and Kenji P28 ecu chipped for optimal ITR specs.
No suspension yet I order Teins from prostreet online but did get them yet
. I couldn't find any place to buy slicks here so I figured i'd go with 14's with snow tires, I can't get much traction with my stock 13's
Once again ANY tips you can give me will be greatly apprecaited. I'll post my times once I get back. Thanks again

pay attention to where your car is on the track(staging and durring the run)
make sure you stage with your front wheels, i see alot of "n00bS" going past the tree and staging with their back wheels..not a good idea.
also, when ya do your burnout try not to go past the tree. track operaters do not like this, unless ya got a really fast car and need that extra heat in the track so you will be able to get slightly more traction.

Oops I meant to type "can't get traction"
=me Snow tires were the stickiest tires that I have access to. How about rpms to launch at? Thanks again guys.
