Default Has anyone tried these wheels for their Slicks...

I found this site and wasn't sure if anyone has had any experience with them.

DIAMOND RACING WHEELS

http://www.diamondracingwheels...s.htm

I am looking to get the 13x7 or 8's for my Slicks.

Thank You
Corey

If you know what slicks you are going to get, make sure you get the proper rim width. John@M&H

So if I get 24.5x8 i should get the 8's or can i get the 7's? Is one more safe than the other?

Thank You John

If you get the M&H - 8.5/24.5-15 and you want the most out of the contact patch, you need the 8" Width size. What is that old saying measure twice and cut once. Thank you for listen. John@M&H

17.5lbs for a 13*7 wheel. I'll pass on that, thank you very much...

I have a friend with some racing harts that are 8lbs for 15*7..jeez

13x7=13 lbs

$150= 2 Wheels shipped to my door to fit on my slicks.

I realize some RH's would be idea, but i don't have that kind of cash. I am just asking if anyone has used these on their slicks...

Thank You

Try them out & post us your opinion on the rims. I am also in the same position as you. I have researched many rims but was leaning towards Bogarts but recently ran into money issues.

PM if you do decide to get them.....

when you call your order in, make sure they know you must have FWD style wheels. if you have standard/rwd style, they won't come even close to fitting.
besides that, they are a great deal if you can live with the weight.

i was thinkin about get some of those as a set a long time ago, but lenso's dont cost that much more and they are very nice, so i figured i'd rather go with those

btw if u run 13x8 slicks, get a 13x8 wheel

Diamonds are a trade off, cheap but not lightweight.

But they are not HEAVY either. ALOT of Autoxers use the Diamonds in 13x8 and even 13x9 sizes.

Thanks for all of the replies... I am in the process of figuring out a good backspace for 13x8's. I was thinking 5" inches but I have to do a bit more research.

yes 5" should be correct for a FWD Style 13x8
i don't think the 13x8's are offered with a bigger backspacing than 5".
at worse, you might have to run a 3/16" or 1/4" spacer.
looks like the Mini Stock wheels will work, they are cheaper than the road race wheels.
you want this: front wheel drive style center
hope you have small brakes. (non-integra).
sometimes these don't clear as easily as the nicer drag wheels (weld, bogart, lenso, etc)

I'm pretty sure the integras have bigger brakes than the Civic's.

Thanks alot for the great reply.
