What are you guys doing to prevent the CEL for Sys. Too rich (bank1)???

Default What are you guys doing to prevent the CEL for Sys. Too rich (bank1)???

my CEL likes to kick off everynow and then for running too rich.. just wondering what you guys doing but clearing it each time?... most of you would prolly say get a standalone?

i just click the car on and off . no need to resart it as long as its rolling in gear, but i assume you knew that. I'm going to get it hondata'd though to tune it (i need it for other reasons, not JUST this).

I'm having the same problem. I'm going to buy a small resistor and hook it up inline with the sensor so it'll reduce the voltage a bit.

whats your fuel setup? if you cant afford a hondata, you can always get some sort of piggyback unit

I've just found out that it doesn't work since the ecu is running closed loop. Lowering the voltage only make the ecu think the engine is lean so it keeps adding more fuel.
