what axels to use for 91 EF with J1 Tranny on B16A1 ??
searched but found no results... Just found that 90-93 axels would fit... but confused about the shafts... half shaft? so what is it? thanks guys.

the j1 tranny uses the 90-93 teg int shaft. If it came with it, use the 90-93 teg axles, and you will be straight. Ryan

Remember, you can have the JDM S1, J1, Y1, or YS1 cable trannies, but its the INTERMEDIATE Shaft that will determine which Driver's side axle to use. If you got a J1 Int. shaft with your J1 tranny, then 90-3 Teg axles should work fine.
There are also variances in which mount kit you use. Some place the motor/tranny further forward or back so axle angle and length will vary also.
Ive installed both Place Racing and HaSport in my customers EF swaps. (HaSport primarily)
On some EF's, I've had to use the shorter 88-89 Teg axle on the driver's side only. This could be due to variances in the customers car or positioning of the mounts.
