Default p14 in a dx accord???

Just wondering if this will work. I got one for free so I was just wondering if they would work. I know both are nonvtec and both are auto. Be nice to have the higher redline and better fuel curve.

ya.. it would work... not sure if id expect TOO much from it, also realize your car is done making power @ 5grand pretty much .. not much a fuel curve can do about that.

the p14 works a considerably better on the DOHC f22b, and the stock accord ecu works fine on it.

I don't see why you wouldn't benefit from a p14 on a stock motor, but the gains would probably be minimal.

it would also throw a code 23 all teh time since you dont have a knock sensor.

what has to be done to add a knock sensor?? Is it something expensive and difficult? I mean if the things free why not. Unless the knock sensor is a pain.

adding a knock sensor is not too complicated, you have to buy one first :-P it all depends on how much you want to use the p14..

a ks has to be added in the process of any h-series swap.
