I've been noticing lately that my exhaust makes an air shooting noise kinda like poooof, poooooof, poooooooof while I'm driving. It doesn't matter if I go slow, or fast, it makes this noise. Just wondering what it could be. Sounds like it has something to do with pressure. Thanks.

 

does it effect performance at all making your car sluggish???

Yes. My car isn't sluggish as a whole, but when ever that poof poof sound happens, it does get sluggish.

cam timming ok?
poof like backfire poof?

 

My Apex N1 has a slight pop when I shift slow. Probably a slight backfire?

 

check your spark plugs/wires/ignition.....timing also

 

check to see if your donut gasket is leaking.

exhaust leak....and that lil pop when oyu shift slow, is back pressure.
