semi-turbo noob..help me with my setup please!
ok..heres my setup...feel free to tell me whats wrong/right or whatever.. im looking for ur expert opinions...
98 Y8 block
y8 head
b16a rods/supra pistons from turbo panda..
2.5 mill. head gasket..8.2:1 comp.
DSM 450 injectors
Vafc hack
DSM bov
tial wastegate ~12 psi
26x8x2.5 FMIC
all alum. mandrel bent charge piping.
2.5 exaust no cat,dynomax resonator,n1 muffler
t3 turbo
STD manifold with adapter plate
msd btm
Should i get a boost controller..and zdyne or somehting of the like hopefully in the future...
can i run more boost on this set up daily or is 12psi about my max?

boost controllers are always nice, that way u can run less boost for daily driving, and turn it up for racing.
I would definately suggest better management in the future.. IMHO the hack should only be used as a temporary solution. Thats my opinion.

8.2.1 compression thats way too low imo. Any reason for that. Your throttle response, spool, and #'s will suffer. I owudlnt run the hack, it seems as if you r doing a budget setup, which is fine, but dont cheap out on the fuel management, its the key to reliability and power
