I need some help with racers in Ohio. Please list car/motor/ET and trap/tires

This is for a domestic lover who claims there arent any 13 sec or better Honda's in Ohio. I am pretty sure its ca crock of BS but he is a newb on another board I post on. Also general area of Ohio the car is based in (for his Ohio reference)

Sorry for the general post but I know there are guys representing Honda in Ohio.

Haha, there are many sub 13 sec cars in ohio... way to may to list. The fastest I know of in southwest Ohio makes 500+ hp and is a street car, runs under 11.50@130+ on street tires.

The import scene is very big in Ohio, Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton and all over.

I didnt quite know of too many cars from Ohio so I thought I could site examples of normal guys who post here......I thougt it too convinient that he has never seen a 13 sec or better Honda...thanks

PS what do you run?

 

My old best time from almost 2 years ago is 13.9@96. That was a B16A/Y1 in an ef hatch with crower 63402 cams, gears, hondata, and exhaust only... all else was stock. Hopefully the new B18C with ~12.0 CR and Alaniz head work will do a little better.

the 11.50 passes were on 22" slicks

 

Yeah, I goofed that was two thoughts in one, 11.5's on slicks and 12.4's on streets.

I'm in Cleveland - haven't seen any cars with numbers like that around...wehre is everyone hiding? what tracks do you guys run at? events? car clubs? ....where people draggin at....how much involved....

I am in western PA and someone needs a reality check. I went 13.0@109mph on street tires, ac, ps, full interior(including spare) and stock B-pipe.

no dyno #'s on the car but inline pro head gasket and block gaurd run at 1 bar of boost daily on stock internals and no stand alone

nobody here is bragging about their times... but anything 12 seconds or faster is not bad in my opinion, especially sohc

SOHC F22 Accord motor doing 10.22 @ 131, got a clue?

 

ohio racer here, i usually go to dragway 42 and see many 12and under hondas

I wish the tranny was in the car but im collecting parts now for the next setup. tell me more about the accord engine bisi?

 

Never seen any Honda's come close to low 12's at 42. Only decent one I ever saw was the mid 13-second Red Turbo'd Prelude.

And no, just because I have a DSM, does not mean I hate Honda's, I love all fast cars, especially ~130mph+ street FWD's.
