Default Infinity Kappas or pefect?

First of all which of these 2 would be better? Planning to rum em on 75x4 amp. Aslo i had a pair of 6x9 reference for about 3 years and finally they gave out. The cone became brittle and crackly. They where ran unamped with a 45x4 headunit, would that contribute to the decay of the speakers? What other speakers could the infinities be compared to? Finally, where is the best place to buy? TIA
Ben

I have heard some people dont care for the perfects tweeters. I have heard the Kappas and thought they sounded pretty good.

I know the subs go, kappa, reference, kappa perfect. (worst to best)

Infinity reference components are comparable to alpine r types.

Ive got 13cm Inifnity Kappa components in the front run from a 4x50rms Kicker amp.. sounds awesome.. so much so a mate with the reference series said he wanted to upgrade...

The clarity of vocals defies belief... tweeters can be a bit bright for some.. ive got mine at --3dB and they are just right for me!

Never heard a set of Perfects so can't commend on them... but the Kappas are defo worth it over Reference!

I agree. I have Kappas (including sub) and am happy with them. If you're looking for clean sounding system, these are good.

I'm looking at some 6x9's for my back.

How do those look? Assuming that money is no object (well, sort of, anyway), what can I get that's better than that?

Infinities are comparable to Polk audio. I chose Polk over Infinity, and I have not been dissapointed.
