My sister bought a del sol, and she really like the Wings West kit. The problem is that her Del Sol didn't come with the factory fog lights. If I just bought a set of fog lights for her, would they bolt right up? Are the headlights different as well?

I have seen people use PIAA 959's in exchange of their Del SOl fogs. I am noit sure how easy it is to bolt up, but I am sure it isn't that hard.

 

ok first off what year del sol does she have?? the only year that the aux lights came on the sol are 93-94... the 95-97 do not have the aux lights.

also the lights that fit PERFECT in the factory aux light position is the Catz MSC. they look sweeet as hell and give a very good beam.. I would highly suggest you getting those. also if you have a 95+ sol and want a kit that has the aux lights you would need the whole housing since that year they did not come eqiupped. yeah its a 96 - All I'm asking is that if I go to a junkyard or something and pick up the fog light housing, will it bolt right in or do I need any other modifications? Were the actual headlight housings the same? Or is the foglight and the headlight all one assembly?

 

no they will not fit.. becuase your front bumper does not haev the aux light holes like the 93-94.. unless you put it in the air dam.. but then you can buy some regualr fog lights for that..

 

ok, you guys are obviously not understanding. Here are the steps I was planning on taking.

1. Buy the Wings West Body kit for the Del Sol.

2. When in the process of installing it, bolt on some OEM Del Sol fog lights.

3. Put on the WW front bumper with the HOLES FOR THE FOG LIGHTS in it.

4. Viola! a Del Sol with a body kit on it.

Will the damn lights just bolt on? or will I have to do a custom mounting job? Yes or NO

 

Yes, you can do that. Instead of getting factory units, get some aftermarket ones.

BTW, 93-95 had the aux lights.
