Default AEM V2 Cold Induction System

anybody know how one of these sounds like?...and is it worth the money?

just get the regular one, no v2 b.s., the same job, just different styling, if it rains, you will hate your CAI.

short ram baby, does the job for me, well and it sounds sweet, when i pass 5400krpms

BTW, the new V2 AEM CAI's are a huge waste of money, IMO.

the v2 work , its just plain physics, are they worth the money **** no! , they oly give you another 4- 5 hp over the regular cai, your call , save the money for something better .

yea i looked around and couldnt find one for a 5th gen. that was a couple months ago so maybe now they do.

Been there done that sounds like a damn tin can rattling around. go regular AEM youll be happy

Been driving in rain in Canada for 2 years with a CAI no problems. Hydrolock only happens if you aren't paying attention and submerge the filter which can't happen in just 'rain'

Oh, I beg to differ! I'm sure you remember about my sob story:

My filter wasn't completely submerged, but it sat very low and I had no inner fender plastic.

IMO, the Ver. 2 AEM CAI is not worth the money at all.
