just get the regular one, no v2 b.s., the same job, just different styling, if it rains, you will hate your CAI.

BTW, the new V2 AEM CAI's are a huge waste of money, IMO.

the v2 work , its just plain physics, are they worth the money **** no! , they oly give you another 4- 5 hp over the regular cai, your call , save the money for something better .

Been driving in rain in Canada for 2 years with a CAI no problems. Hydrolock only happens if you aren't paying attention and submerge the filter which can't happen in just 'rain'

My filter wasn't completely submerged, but it sat very low and I had no inner fender plastic.
IMO, the Ver. 2 AEM CAI is not worth the money at all.
