B16block/LS crank how?
shorter custom rods or a custom height deck plate if you decide to use stock rods.
try talking to goldeneagle about the deck plates and crower rods about the custom rods if your serious about it, i also dont know if the oil squirters will clear.

That engine would suck I'd think.
Imma do some quick math (these are all calculated, so they may be wrong)
The B16 Rod is 134.7mm long w/ a 77.4 mm stroke
half of 77.4 is 38.7, the LS stroke is 89 mm, and half of that is 44.5 mm. 44.5 - 38.7 is 5.8 mm
So our crazy custom rod would have to be 5.8 mm shorter than our regular b16 rod at 128.9mm with a stroke of 89 mm.
thats a rod:stroke ratio of 1.45:1, or in other words, ***.
I'd take a regular B16 and turn it into a torque monster though, so it'd sorta be cool.
I wonder if someone could build a torque monster b16/b18/b20 (i'd hafta be sleeved obviously) like that.
I'd bet if it was all done up, balanced like mad with crazy rods and pistons, it'd still got to 7500 rpm.
Do you think you could use all these ghetto parts (IE b20 tunnel ram) and make a torque beast?
If I had a bunch of money I might see if I could do it....
but I'd rather just build an LsVtec for like 1/4 the price and probably make the same power at like 500 higher rpm.

OR..................... you could buy a set of pistons from me. i have two sets left. these are my design, and made for me by arias. they are 85mm, made for a sleeved b16a block, with a ls crank and rods. the rod must be bushed from .826 down to .708 (or you can buy rods from me already done) the compression is 11.5 to 1 with a b16a head with a 43cc chamber (unmilled) i designed these to run a pump without detonation. it took a while to get the design right to make em fit. we have these running in street cars. almost 230 whp on a dynojet w/ skunk stg 2's and good bolt ons, without itb's and on a stock ecu with 280cc inj.
they come with 1-1.2-2.8 ring grooves and custom aluminum buttons to support the oil rings. this was necessary after moving the pin up to accept a stock length rod. the forgings have dedicated valve reliefs aka "hollow domes"..its actually hollow under the relief, you can see in the picture. i also had maximum internal milling done to make these VERY LIGHT. 255 grams (shelf 85mm is 320 grams). very strong, very streetable. .
so...in layman's terms....its a 1mm overbored b20 stuffed in a b16a block, and it still retains the 1.54 ls rod ratio. total displacement is 2.02L......a true 2 liter. mean sleeper engine. im if interested...and they ain't cheap!

those pistons have internal milling? i dont think so. arias pistons just made there new cast so u dont have to do a internal mill i knoe cuz i also deal with arias. those pistons cost $350 with rings thats my cost
the new HCI has an article for building a stroker B16........custom crank, shorter rods and standard pistons with slightly shorter skirt........read up on it.....i think they had to notch the block to clear but dont remember off hand.

yeah, a few, good hp, read more it my above post.

thats funny, how you can just throw some number out there like that. lol
is it from experience? you've done this setup?....or you have a crystal ball?

haha it is funny and has been done it's to old jun stroker kit! but you can get creative with this kind of set up and well you can still say it's a b16! but anyone that says that it cannot be done or would take alot of money to do this kind of setup! has probably never had any on hand experience and gets all there knowledge of hondas on honda-tech? everything said here is opinions minus the true tuners and engine bulders which have real world experience. my advice it can be done and would be a great setup! whether if it can be daily driven is up to you. There is alot of factors! not because someone says rod ratio sucks! there is other factors!
so do it and ave fun!

I put your quote becuase I agree with you? any other question?

12s? there are stock bore b16a running 12s and price wise it seems like it would be cheaper to run a set up like drag_dru then to do all of the work you have mentioned to run 12s. but if your a die hard b16 fan and you wont tq numbers then your build up is a way to go.
on the info and i hope you can put dyno charts up so that we can check out hp numbers and what the curve looks like
