if someone can prove to me that this would work, i will go out and buy a F20 longblock right now.
I think it could be done, but it probably wont, at least for a while. The pic however is real, the guys a prototype engineering did that. In fact I emailed them and they said that they were on standstill with that casing due to the popularity of the crazy whp #'s coming from the k-series motors.
wow. i dont really feel that dumb though, thats pretty damn frankenstein.
is that a VTEC solenoid on the tranny though?? That would be awesome to have that in a DC5. Does the DC5R have an LSD?

it's been in the works for a while now. don't know if it's done but this web page has been up for a while now.
"as it will require a completely new casting for the bell-housing end of the trans. Prototype Racing will produce this casting, fully machined, for anyone desiring to mate the F20C engine to the K20A trans."

A TODA S2000 2.2L Stroker kit and ITB's could add to the fun

Toda makes a 2.2L stroker kit, but I wonder if it costs less to just go get a new crank from Honda dealer from the 04' s2000 with is a 2.2L !
Throw that in there with custom rods and HC pistons, Toda cams (or whoever makes them) and nice custom header, and port the intake manifold and get a slightly larger TB, with a K20 tranny in an EG..that's just sick! Does anyone sleeve S2k motors? Imagine a larger bore, with stroker crank 2.3L stroked F20 with ITB'...whooot!

Just use the K20 motor - less expensive, tons more aftermarket support, and more potential for a steet motor. After all, that's the reason Prototype Racing didn't bother finishing the project & just stuck with the K-series.
